An in-depth look at at occult practices in Ghana.
This
video is very interesting. That they would call the Abosom demons is
very disingenuous. I know several of the people in this video and was
told that the video-grapher came to the village under false pretense.
Had they known he would later describe
them as demons, I doubt they would have allowed him to video the
sacred/secret rituals. In one instance, he was told to stop his camera,
and he did not, a sign of blatant disrespect. To me the intensity with
which the "Christian" ministers attempt to release the deity from the
person, they appear just as possessed. What is it different? How is it
different? How is it, that they can replace the blood sacrifice of a
European looking man named Jesus, and call what the others do as Demon
possession. I have a real problem with that analogy.
In Ghana, they
separate the "bad medicine" from the good medicine. In no way, are they
invoking evil spirits, but rather using the Abosom to gain further
access to nature. The Abosom represent nature, water, air, fire, trees,
mountains, rivers, etc. not DEMONS! Christian missionaries have done a
great damage to the traditional customs. I do know that in human
affairs, one human being will try to overpower and control another,
through fear, rejection and abandonment. If you are Christian, surely
you would see conversion as a viable option. But historically, this
conversion equals a subtle invasion and overthrow of the established
culture, tradition and lifestyle of the indigenous people world wide.
The Africans are simply replacing the same passion for connection to
God, that is inherent in the African, with a passionate "In the Name of
Jesus". Using some of the same techniques their ancestors used in Ghana.
What is it? How is it different?? In some instances, they have placed
the so-called witches in prison, some of these women are elderly, living
in the worst conditions you can imagine. If they want to televise the
corruption among the Ghanaians as it relates to religious practices,
they can document the many, many, churches there, taking money from the
masses and helping themselves to luxury. Nothing new here.
Unfortunately, there is corruption in the Spiritual Systems of the Akan
people of Ghana, but this video is not even touching that part of it.
The focus on Demons is so out of pocket!!! As you can see, this movie is
very disturbing to me. I do not defend corruption of any kind, and
while African people and all people need to become more self-reliant and
less dependent on outside forces to "fix" it for them, this video
leaves out the powerful work that has been done for the people through
the auspices of the Abosom, Gods of Ghana. But what can you expect from a
European outsider who thinks that Jesus came to save the whole world
and especially these primitive, backward, demon-possessed people.
SMDH!!!
